If you want the most fabric and vane size options, go with Silhouette®. If you like soft folds that add texture when the shade is open, Pirouette® has a unique look. If you want a simpler selection at a lower price, Nantucket® is a great choice. Either way, you’ll get beautiful light-filtering and daytime privacy.
Are these shades good for bedrooms?
Yes! These light-filtering shades are great if you like waking up to soft, natural light. For complete darkness, add the Duolite® system. It combines Silhouette vanes with a blackout shade.
What's the difference between these and other sheer shades?
Silhouette sheer shades have S-shaped fabric vanes that tilt for precise light control. Other sheer shades may have different vane shapes or operating styles. We’ll help you compare options in our showroom.
How much do custom sheer shades cost?
It depends on window size, fabric, and features like motorization. Most standard windows range from $400–$900. We’ll give you an exact quote after measuring.
Can I add motorization later?
Usually not. Motorization needs to be built in from the start. It’s best to decide on PowerView® during your design session so we can set it up right from installation.
Do these help with energy costs?
Yes. The fabric blocks UV rays and reduces heat gain, which can lower your cooling bills.
Can these fit unusual window shapes?
